Media should play when layer shows up, but stops
I have a slide where the base layer has the media (text to speech) and after a few seconds, a layer comes up with no audio. I set it so the base layer media should continue, but it stops every time ...
Without seeing the slide it hard to know.
By default, if you have audio on the base layer and then show a new layer, the audio should continue to play.
The first thing to look for is in the layer properties to ensure that the "Pause timeline of base layer" is NOT selected. It sounds like that's what you've done.
Confirm that it's not selected. If it still doesn't work, you can share the slide here and we can look at it or you can contact our support team if it's not working correctly.
