Mouse Formatting Options in View, Try It, and Test Mode
Good evening,
Is there any way to set the "Show click effects" and "Click sound" formatting options in my general Articulate settings, project specific settings, or when I insert the video instead of changing them every slide one at a time?
I know how to change the settings for showing the mouse at all, and for indicating clicks with the highlighted box.
But right now, I have to manually format every slide (60-150 slides on a demo video) to manually to remove the click sound. It is disruptive to the instructor narration. I also have to manually turn off the red dots at the tip of the mouse (which look bad with our course colors and are redundant to the more complementary highlight). I would also like to be able to change the color from red, but that would a super bonus.

Hi, I am also interested in controlling mouse options in demo videos. My users are requesting a more prominent mouse pointer, so they can easily see where we are pointing on a very busy screen, and I would love to be able to set that as a default. Has there been any progress on this feature request?

We're still tracking the feature request, for allowing Storyline authors to control the size of the mouse cursor in screen recordings. I've included your voice in this request!

I share the same concerns as others and would appreciate having more options for mouse customization š¤©In particular, I would like to be able to change the red circle that appears to indicate the click effect and the cursor size. Additionally, it would be great if we could apply this feature seamlessly across all slides in a presentation after making changes š
As technology continues to advance, software demonstrations are being used more often, making these improvements all the more necessary for course development and design.
I agree; this is an enhancement that we would like to see implemented.
