Hello, any progress on this front? I too am looking to move the Start Course button and can't figure it out.

Hi Lada,
The new THEME tab provides several different layouts for the Cover Page.
Depending on which cover page option you choose, the Start button is displayed in different locations.

Hi Karl,
I looked through and couldn't see a cover page where the start button is in a different location (I'm in Apex theme). Which theme/cover page has the start button after the intro text?

Nothing seems to have been done on this and it was years ago. Yes there are work arounds but it would make it easier if you can add the start button after the intro. Thanks

I can’t believe here we are 6 years later, and this still hasn’t been fixed. It’s such an obviously bad UX design choice.

Hi Vmurrieta! I hear you, and I know it’s frustrating that the Start Course button still sits above the intro text when that means learners might skip important details. We’ve shared this feedback with our product team so they know how much flexibility here would improve the learner experience. Thanks for speaking up!

Just adding my voice again. I frequently have to raise this with clients when screen reader testing Rise courses. Blind users are likely to miss content that occurs after the start button as there isn't any programmatic indication that there is further content on the page and so would naturally select the start button rather than exploring the page further.
