Multiple paths on Rise 360
Hi, I have a course that ends with a quiz. I made 2 options of quizzes depending on the user's personal background. I need them to chose only one, complete it until they have the minimum score and whithin the time given and then go forward with the rest of the course. They will not complete the other quiz at any point.
I tried to do this by using a button stack that forwards the user to a quiz page, depending on the one he chooses. I created 2 quiz pages, so one of them has to come first. The problem I'm having is that, if the user choses the 2nd quiz, when he reaches the end of it, he cannot go forward: the continue button is locked.
The only way I've found to make it possible is to unlock the course and to uncheck "Require Passing Score To Continue" on the quizzes, which are 2 things I do not want to do.
Is there any way to make it work? Thanks in advance.

Hello Miiro! Thanks for the detailed explanation! Rise 360 doesn’t currently support an “either/or” requirement for quizzes. If you have two separate quiz lessons in the course outline and both have Require Passing Score to Continue turned on, Rise expects learners to pass both. That’s why the Continue button is stuck when someone chooses the second quiz—the first quiz (earlier in the outline) is still locked.
If it is important to keep the option to Require Passing Score to Continue, then I would say the most effective way to achieve this is to use a Storyline block. Here are the steps if you're okay with that!
- Build the two quiz paths in Storyline 360 (one per background).
- Add a results slide for each path, then add a combined results slide that counts a pass when the learner passes either quiz path.
- Publish to Review 360 and insert it in Rise as a Storyline Block.
- In Rise 360's Tracking settings, set the course to Track using Storyline Block, which will let learners choose one path, hit the required score, and continue.
