That's a great question! I understand you want to know how to edit your Storyline template file. If you want to change a custom template, you'll want to open the template and import the slides into a new Storyline project.
After making the changes, click File >> Save As. Use the same name as the original template to overwrite the old template or change the name to create a new template. Then use the Save as type drop-down to choose Storyline Template (*.storytemplate).
