New in Rise 360: More Course Customization with Themes
- 3 days ago
Hi everyone!
Great news for those of you who asked for an easier way to save and reuse your organization’s branding across Rise 360 courses! 🎉 Brands is now available in public beta in Rise 360.
With Brands, you can create reusable brand presets with your logo, brand colors, and heading and body fonts, then apply them to your Rise 360 content. You can also set a brand as the default for newly created training, so your team doesn’t have to reapply those brand elements each time they start something new.
You can learn more about creating and applying Brands.
Since Brands is currently in public beta, we’d especially love to hear what else you need from this experience. If you give it a try, please share your feedback through the Share feedback option next to the beta tag. Your input will help us better understand which additional brand settings, permissions, and bulk actions would be most valuable to your team!
While I'm pleased with the new options with themes, I'm now lamenting even more that there is still such inconsistency with which buttons and blocks have options to modify specific colors and text. I needed this more than new cover page layouts.
Our company's primary color is yellowy-orangey gold (#fdb913), which is great to draw attention but not so great for accessibility when Rise defaults buttons to be this color with white text. The contrast is too low. This also goes for hyperlinks and other text that Rise defaults to the accent color. Some I can manually change but a lot I can't.
Some of the new features help, but there are so many blocks that force the accent color without respect to how well it contrasts with the white background or white text, that I can't really use some of the new features without having a hodge podge of button styles and text colors, which just makes the less accessible stand out even more.
