New in Rise 360: More Course Customization with Themes
- 3 days ago
Hi everyone!
Great news for those of you who asked for an easier way to save and reuse your organization’s branding across Rise 360 courses! 🎉 Brands is now available in public beta in Rise 360.
With Brands, you can create reusable brand presets with your logo, brand colors, and heading and body fonts, then apply them to your Rise 360 content. You can also set a brand as the default for newly created training, so your team doesn’t have to reapply those brand elements each time they start something new.
You can learn more about creating and applying Brands.
Since Brands is currently in public beta, we’d especially love to hear what else you need from this experience. If you give it a try, please share your feedback through the Share feedback option next to the beta tag. Your input will help us better understand which additional brand settings, permissions, and bulk actions would be most valuable to your team!
Hello! Here is a a scenario that i might not be alone in?
With the arrival of the themes feature, branding choices suddenly is more extensive for the courses produced. The flip side of this function is that things can go wrong very fast with so many options and a large group of developers.
I see the risk of un-intended consequences to branding consistency in a company with many course designers and no mandate of central control, but guidance and support is appreciated.
Is there a way to distribute the template(s) to larger groups?
I know Articulate support have the "Copy" function, which is a great feature for anyone that have link access to download a copy of the template to their account and it used to be available for more then support before.
I am looking at sending several templates to a long list of users which clearly the "Send a copy function" was never intended to do..
A much smoother way would be to provide a copy link in email or even better in a company e-learning developer Community site.
Can Articulate support setup any "Copy" solution for large scale distribution if we can provide the templates? It is not any sensitive content so security in terms of content is not an issue.
Any solution that doesn't entail working with "Send a copy" as it is today, i am all ears :)
Thank you.
Hi! You're right that sending a copy is the way to go right now. We're planning a custom themes feature to allow you to share preferred theme settings to everyone on your team.
We'll update this article on how to share themes once that's released!
