Hopefully they can increase the limit quickly/easily! It is otherwise a perfect tool for our use-case.
Thanks for your feedback Stacy and Rebecca! We totally get that it can be challenging to say everything you need to say with a limited amount of characters. The character limits were put in place to make sure scenario blocks look great on any device. If you need to include additional information, you could try branching to text slides instead of using the dialogue slides.

I've been finding temporary work arounds, but for my needs I really need more characters. 150 is just too limiting. If it could get bumped to 200 or even 250, that'd give more room to make the responses more robust. For now I've reverted back to building my own version of this type of interaction in Storyline360 and importing into my Rise content. I just wish I could get the player to span the size of the page like this interaction does.
Either way, this interaction is a great addition to the options in Rise and I look forward to seeing if any of the above suggestions get implemented in future updates. Thanks for the response!
Hi Allison - Can they at least make it so if you choose a "Text" page, it can have more than 200 characters? Like maybe 800? Because it is taking up the same amount of space as the person's question (200 characters), and the three possible responses (150 x 3), plus all the extra space in between (room for 650+ characters and still look great!). (See screenshots attached)
I think limiting such a POWERFUL training tool for seemingly no reason is a mistake. Training can definitely be "snackable" to be effective, but 200 characters are NOT enough for effective scenario-based training.
Sorry to be so persistent - it's just such a great tool, I hate to see it go unused because people can't fit their information into it. I'll put in a feature request for the text page!
