Hi there, Dan. I'm so sorry this change negatively affected hundreds of your courses. Transparency in cover photos should have always been respected, but we had an unknown bug which caused transparent images to have a white background.
With this recent update, image transparency now works as it always should have, but we realize that there are authors like you who want transparent cover photo images to have a white background.
Our team is looking into options for how we can give you more flexibility around this. I don't have any further details or an ETA to share right now, but I promise to keep you posted on new developments.
