New in Storyline 360: Global Notes Formatting
Just to clarify, there are separate "normal styles" for on-slide text and notes text. The default text body still will be specific to notes, and can be globally applied. Both the Notes format and the default on-slide text are called Normal Text, but they are two separate applications. The icons are different and you'll only see the notes formatting if you're in the notes.

Thanks Elizabeth!
Articulate - perhaps Elizabeth's comment should be added to the help file for for global notes. We also weren't aware that 'normal style' applied in different sections. We were trying to create custom global style specifically called 'Notes', with the same result mentioned by others.

I came upon https://access.articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-360-Global-Notes-Formatting for the first time and... lets just say I'm surprised that there's no reference to the fact that you turned "Text Styles" (that you don't say in the help that "text styles" aren't labeled "text styles" in the UI??) ... anyway, you DON'T say that Text Styles has become CONTEXTUAL (based on content text vs notes text). Worse, Text Styles via Notes has
at the bottom! And this path that makes it seem like THIS is where you can fix your global notes formatting, in it's "applied slide master". No dice.
I feel like y'all have gotten a little over your skis? Too much updating, updating, updating! ...maybe stop (especially with AI Asst. now released), and breathe, and make sure your UI is um, sane? (sorry) <3 <3 ππππ(and maybe you've already addressed this elsewhere, and maybe it's just me!)
