Next button slide icon?
Can anyone provide any information about this icon on the Next button?
It looks like it’s supposed to slide to activate Next, but I was given this screenshot and I’m not seeing it in my version of Storyline.
Thank you!

That's not a standard Storyline Next button. I assume it was done with JavaScript.
Personally, I wouldn't ask folks to slide a button to go Next anyway. That's not accessible.

Thank you for the response. I thought it was odd as well and couldn’t see the logic for it unless it’s intended for mobile.

Like Judy said, this was probably done with javascript. You'll probably find the javascript on the slide master (view -> slide master).

CaseyCo It is done with JavaScript, I believe, using the "Storyline RoundButtons" code generator developed by Nathan Stoker. It is very easy to use and intuitive. Once on the website, create the feel and look for your "Next," "Prev," and "Submit" buttons in the Design Editor. Then click the "Generated Code" tab and copy the code generated for you based on your settings. Paste the code into an "Execute JavaScript" trigger when the timeline starts on a Slide Master.
Link to the code generator:

Although I was not able to create the button shown in the screenshot, there may be another upgraded version of this code generator, or it may have been developed by someone else. Does the button really look like it can be slid left or right?
