I realize this is an old thread but I don't think it was ever resolved for Rise- there are two different types of text displays in Rise. You CAN use the the non-breaking space on some title elements in Rise- like Course Title and Lesson Title. But for regular lesson content, this doesn't work. This workaround involves removing the space between words altogether, and adjusting the letter-spacing (new-ish feature in Rise) on the letter before the needed space. I did a screen recording explaining the workaround/hack.
