Notes field - text is appearing very tiny on some slides
Hi,
I'm including subtitles for the voiceover in my presentation by using the "Notes" field. On some slides, this text appears at a nearly unreadable font size. I thought at first it was dynamically sizing to accommodate lots of text, but it doesn't seem to correlate to the amount of text at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

To format the notes text, you should use the View -> Notes View. This way you can see exactly what size the text is on each slide as you page through. This is also the view to use when setting up formatting for your notes.
I have used the Notes Master view in the past, but sometimes that doesn't work correctly after publishing. So I've gone to checking each slide using the Notes Page view.
This will format and change the size for both the left had Notes tab and the Notes button that shows in the bottom right of the main player bar.

Got it - thank you!

I've been through the notes master and the notes view and each slide is set at Calibri size 11. However, AP 13 is still publishing at different font sizes in the Notes tab. Any suggestions?
Hi Richard,
You may not be able to actually see all your changes in PowerPoint's notes pane, such as font and color selections, but they'll show up when you publish with Presenter. If you're changes that you're making to the format/font within Notes view is not displaying when you're viewing the published version, would you be able to package your Presenter files and share them with us here?

Thanks Ashley--that's the thing--the correct font size is not showing up in the published version even though the notes master and the notes page in PPT are showing the same font size across slides. Even reset notes layout in PPT 2013 using Jeanette's tutorial. I've got a ticket open and will hopefully post solution soon.

Were you ever able to resolve this? I know it was something I did while working with the touchpad instead of a mouse, but that in no way helps me resolve the issue. Any help appreciated!
Hi Richard,
Can you let me know the case number so that I can follow along too?

Can someone please supply the answer to resolve this issue? I ran against the same issue when I published....Notes text was all different sizes even though consistent in PowerPt? Thanks for any direction.

Hi Michael,
Can you tell us which version of Studio you're using, please? If it's Studio '13, are you publishing and viewing HTML5 content?
Also, how are you viewing the project files? Try to make sure you're not viewing the published output files locally. If you view a published Studio '13 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:

Hi Becky!
This thread is a bit dated, but you are welcome to reach out to Richard directly via the 'Contact Me' option on the user profile if needed as I'm not sure if he'd still be subscribed here.
Hopefully you checked out the solution that Christine shared above and are utilizing the latest update to your software as well.

Thank you Leslie - I will attempt to contact Richard directly. I see now that I did not specify that I am using PowerPoint, not Project. I didn't pursue the solution Christine shared, as it appeared to pertain to Project, not PowerPoint.
