Numeric Entry and Enter Keys and Triggering Layers more than once
I have a numeric entry box on a slide. It works. However, it only "takes" the answer when I click somewhere out of the box, not when I hit the enter key. I have other slides where hitting the enter key works, and I remember there was something I had to do to make that work, but it's been so long I can't remember how I did it, and I can't find the answer on the google. Help? I think I remember it was a simple fix but I'm missing it somehow. I've compared everything I can think of between the ones that work and the ones that don't, but I'm not seeing the difference.
I also can't get my DINGS to work on one slide.
Here are the 3 slides.
on slide 1 - I can <enter> all my answers, and the ding sound layer will trigger three different times.
on slide 2 - My <enter> works, but I can't get the ding to trigger for a 2nd time.
on slide 3 - I can't <enter> my answer.
Answers on slide 1 = 4, 3, and 1
Answers on slide 2 = 150 and 1000
Answer on slide 3 =230
I know these are tiny annoyances, but these are the things that stop me in my tracks and make me crazy.
Have a look at the attached and see if that's what you wanted.
slide 2: Added a Hide This Layer trigger on the Ding layer
slide 3: Added a keypress trigger for Enter to "score" the input.
Thanks!!! The keypress trigger worked! Hiding the ding layer still didn't work for me, but I just added a duplicate ding trigger so I can move on with my life ;P
