NVDA reader not detecting hyperlinks in Rise
Hello! During a QA check for one of our courses, we noticed that the NVDA screen reader wasn't detecting hyperlinks in the middle of a sentence. Likewise, the reader sometimes missed hyperlinks that were part of a bullet list.
Are these bugs in Rise or is there something we need to fix within the course? Any insight would be appreciated!
Hi Annie! Thanks for reaching out.
I used NVDA on a sample Rise course I created with a hyperlink on one of the text blocks. It appears to detect the phrase I linked the URL to and read it. Here's a short screen recording of the test I made.
Can you also share a recording of the test you made from your end? Or would you be able to share the link to your Rise course so that we can test it as well?
I used the tab and arrow keys to get to the hyperlinked text. Let me know if there's anything, in particular, you did on your tests so I can perform the same thing on my end.
