Object reporting between Storyline and UKG

I am new to using Storyline. I am using 3 Free Form Pick Many quiz slides. I want to know what the user selects, not just if they are right or wrong. When I upload the SCORM 1.2 into UKG LMS, the report only shows me things like "p,p,d" correct or "c,p,p,p,d,g" correct. It's not giving me the name of the objects that were selected, just these letters. Is there a way I can fix that? Everything I'm seeing just says to create a decoder spreadsheet in Excel, and the only way to find out what each letter means is to test it by doing the exam one answer at a time. Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated.

  • I'm not familiar with UKG, but the SCORM 1.2 protocol is by definition very limited. If you want more detailed interaction information, SCORM 2004 is the way to go, ideally 4th edition. Is there a practical reason you're limited to 1.2?

UKG's LMS is tailored to 1.2 from what I've gathered.

This Help page does say they serve 1.2, but the page also seems pretty outdated, showing screenshots of Storyline and describing elements that aren't considered modern.

Fortunately a different help names 2004 as an accepted standard along with many other non-1.2 ones so perhaps the first one is in need of an update. Part of the reason for SCORM 2004 though was to capture that additional data, so if UGK can't handle it, then they've made a business decision to not enable users to see the data you want to see.
