On quiz slide, answers change in different states
I know I am missing something basic here but lately, when I go to create a quiz and the answers are multiple choice or multiple selection, when I view the quiz, I find that half of the answers are different when the states change. So, if I hover or select them, they change. It's really frustrating because I have to go back and copy the answer over to every state. It has happened on multiple projects. Does anyone have an answer?

That doesn't sound right! I'm happy to help. When you say that you're copying the answer to every state, is the text missing from the Hover and Selected state?
Would you mind if I tested your file on my end? You can attach it to this public discussion or upload it privately in a support case.
Has this been solved yet? We've been having this same issue: Changes to quiz answer text is only applied to one state.

I did a quick test on my end but I was unable to replicate the behavior with changing text in states that you reported. Here's a video of my test where I made a change to the text of the Normal state that was carried over to the other states.
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? The behavior might be specific to your project file, and we'll need to do some tests in order to identify a possible fix. We'll delete it when we're done!
We've been having the same problem. I added a example video where you can see what's happening if you deselect checkboxes.

Yet another multiple year old issue that has not been fixed.
I know you need troubleshooting but it's very simple to understand what's going on. for whatever reason, storyline DOES NOT set EVERY STATE to the text we changed, which entails in the text of the choices changing every time we change states or copy text from one another, etc etc.
Again, I know you need troubleshooting on your end, but it's very frustrating and time consuming working with this platform that still has unnacceptable bugs for almost a decade. i've seen forums with up to 9 years of age, with still unresolved issues i am having in the latest Storyline version.
I for one, also have this exact issue on every single quiz I've ever done in the last 6/7 years in this app, with no exaggeration. I have been a eLearning specialist at multiple companies all over the world, and this has happened in every single Quiz project i developed.
It is also insanely tough to fix because i have to check every choice on every question which means at least 4 (options) times 4 (states) times whatever number of questions i have.
Imagine i have a Quiz with 30 questions. In 4 languages. That is 1920 individual checks i have to do. that's almost two thousand. that is beyond unreasonable, for a bug that is absolutely invisible unless we're actively looking for it.
Not to mention the states window in storyline is about the slowest and laggiest feature in the app (which is already saying something)
To finish this lengthy post, i would also like to, yet again, ask for a fix for this, because it makes it unreasonably time consuming to create quizes on storyline and usually we just go for Rise instead (not an option in this case).
Cannot attach my project file as it has NDA'd information that i cannot show external parties. The bug is the same as the video shown above: create choices, they all have multiple states with the same text, change some text around and some states, now all the text is random and doesn't align.
