Only one single word for text input in free form questions?

Hi everyone, 

I've created a text input free form interaction and some of the correct answers are a combination of two words. However, only the first word is considered in the grading and I cannot type in alternative answer option as I can do in Rise. Is that the way it is or am I doing something wrong?
