Play Button Allows Learners to Skip Interaction

In my Storyline 360 course I have an interaction I want my learners to engage with before continuing. I'm using the modern player with the menu restricted and a trigger that disables the next button when the slide ends. The way I have the interaction set up, the next button is enabled once the learner completes it and so they can continue on. 

Unfortunately, once the slide has stopped to have the learners engage with the interaction, the learners can skip it if they click the play button to the left of the seekbar. Is there any way to disable the play button or keep it from continuing on past the interaction?
