Please release a native ARM version of Storyline
Does it work now? Would it work smoothly on a Win laptop with Snapdragon X Elite?
Hi Gustavo,
Thanks for reaching out. 64-bit Storyline 360 is now the default Storyline version in the desktop app. It runs faster and is more stable, though the performance improvements depend on the project and your computer's processing power.
A Windows laptop running a Snapdragon X Elite processor should work smoothly with Storyline 360. It has at least 3.4 GHZ of Multi-Core Frequency, much more than the required 2 GHZ to run Storyline.
Let me know if you encounter any issues when authoring courses with Storyline. I'm happy to help!

Hi Eric,
Thanks for posting this update. Do you have experience running 64-bit Storyline 360 on a a Windows ARM device, such as the the new Windows Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite?- EricSantos12 months agoStaff
Hello Anushka,
I appreciate you reaching out. I am running 64-bit Storyline 360 on a Mac with a Parallels ARM Windows Virtual Machine, and everything is smooth. I haven't experienced running it on a new Windows Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite, nor have I heard any user report an issue with this machine while running 64-bit Storyline.
Please let us know if you encounter problems while using these hardware specs. We'd be happy to assist you!

Hi Eric, I found this discussion and was wondering if I am interpreting your response correctly. I am currently looking at buying a new laptop--I really like my old Surface laptop and I noticed on the new ones that they are only offered with Snapdragon X-Plus 10 or 12 Core Processor. Sadly I have no ideas what this means. :) Will I have issues using Storyline 360 or Rise? Since this discussion is 10 months old I wanted to check. Thank you!
