Pre test as an option to Opt-Out of the Learning Module

We create a pretest with an individual question bank for each topic/module and if they meet the minimum score needed for the pretest - we pass them out of those modules - they can still view the content but they don't have to take the exam associated with the module. Then as they go into the course they will see passed checkmarks on any module they have passed and required viewing for the modules still to pass.  It gets tricky because each client is a little different - on their pass rate - or attempt rate.  Some want to limit the number of attempts on a module but have the learner be graded on the overall score - others want to be passed only if they pass all of the modules.  

The final tricky elements is they ALL want to see the reporting of the questions and answers - and that is tough if they attempt a pretest once then the modules many times then back to the reporting page - often many empty unanswered questions get reported and they require finesse on the part of the client to know how to download the FULL report as well as how to filer out the blanks.

Oh and to boot they also want to learn how the learn passed the course and how many attempts they made on each module :). Lots of java script and variables! Lots of fights with the export as the course wants to default the reporting and I have to turn off various stages to prevent the empty blanks or to allow it to grade, review and reset and then report :).
