prompt to resume

I am not sure WHY our client is complaining about this as we provide the trainings for free but.... their complaint is the content doesn't have a pop-modal in the course that says "do you want to resume?" or click "cancel" to start over. Does Rise offer this or a workaround that I am not doing correctly?  Thank you

  • Rise will automatically resume if delivered via an LMS there is no option to choose

  • They are saying it is starting from the beginning... not resuming from where they left off. This is becoming a more common complaint.

Hi there, Amelia. For Rise 360 courses, learners will resume at the top of the lesson they last viewed as long as the course is hosted in a learning management system. So they may pick up at the top of lesson 3 even if they were halfway through lesson 3 when they left.

For Rise 360 microlearning, learners always return to the top of the content when they resume. Since microlearning is like a single lesson, the LMS is tracking whether they've completed it entirely.

If you host either a course or a microlearning on a website or visit them using the Share link, the content will always start over. Hosting with an LMS is the only way to allow learners to resume at the lesson they exited.

Does that match what your client is experiencing?
