Q&A: New Content Formats — Guides, Decks, Interactive Video, & Scenarios
You need to make it clearer that these are 'paid' features. Purchasing AI Assistant doesn't give you these tools for free, they use credits every time you use them. I'm reluctant to use as a consequence.
Hey there! Thanks for the comment. These new format types are included with your Articulate subscription and do not use credits!
Credits are only consumed when content is translated, when AI Avatars are created, or when someone without an Articulate 360 AI seat creates via Frontline.
Hope this helps!

Hi there HVfb0f498d-053b - I understand the confusion! What you have there is the guide for Frontline users, who do pay credits to create those content types. In your Articulate 360 subscription, the new formats do not consume credits. Hope that clears it up!

Thanks for flagging that, HVfb0f498d-053b, and thanks Rachael_Silvano for jumping in, that's exactly right.
To add a bit more detail, that table you found is accurate, it's just specific to Frontline. On the Articulate 360 AI side, there's a note right below its own table in that same article confirming Guides, Training Decks, Interactive Video, and Scenarios don't consume credits at all, they're included in your seat price. Credits only come into play for AI Avatars and Multi-format Translation on Articulate 360 AI.
Frontline (our credit-based product for teams outside of L&D) works on a different pricing model entirely, which is why you're seeing per-artifact credit rates for these same formats there.
You can see both breakdowns in the same article here, Articulate 360 AI and Frontline: Understanding Credits
