Question Bank & Storyline Locking Up When Adding Questions

Hello, 

I am using Storyline 360 version v3.113.36519.0. When building a question bank of questions, the question bank keeps locking up periodically when I attempt to add a question. It does not happen every time but it happens enough where I have to then use Task Manager to completely shut down Storyline and then relaunch and hope it doesn't happen again, which then of course it does. 

I have never experienced this before and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. 

This did not start happening until I downloaded version v3.113.36519.0 last week. 

Anyone else experiencing this same thing happening?

    If you are not working from a shared file location (Teams/OneDrive/network share) I would try rolling back the version you are using (uninstall/reinstall Articulate) and see if the lock-up continues. If it does not, I would open a support case and advise that you have successfully identified a bug. And if it continues, I would then open a support case to see what else is going on.

  • Hi MikeMills-6d30b​! Thanks for reaching out! This is something we've also noticed internally and shipped the fix in Update 114 that was released yesterday. Do you mind updating Storyline 360 and letting us know if that did the trick?

      Hi Lauren, 

      Thanks so much for responding. I updated to the newest version (Build 3.114.36609.0) a couple of hours ago. So far, I have added a few questions when working in Question Banks and it's not locking up (crosses fingers). 

      I will continue to monitor and hope it doesn't start locking up again. For now (fingers continue to be crossed), it hasn't locked up yet. :-)
