question bank and quizzes not updating
We are currently using a Question Bank for multiple versions of our final tests, and the questions are frequently updated or new ones are added. Initially, I assumed that questions in the Question Bank function as a “parent” source — meaning that if a question is modified in the Question Bank, those changes would automatically be reflected in all instances where the question is used (e.g., in final tests).
However, in practice, this does not seem to be the case. Even small updates require us to manually go into each final test and update the questions individually, which is quite time-consuming and inefficient.
Is there a way to enable automatic synchronization between the Question Bank and the quizzes that use these questions?
After editing a question bank, the quizzes that uses that question bank are not updated automatically. You need to EDIT the RIse quiz that uses that question bank, and select UPDATE DRAW. That will pull in any edits made to the question bank into the local Rise course quiz.
We are having this problem too, and we can never get the draw to "stick" without deleting the problem question and making a new one. We are having to go in and update all our quiz draws every time we export. I spent multiple hours managing this last week and it makes me regret moving to question banks.
