Quiz Attempts for Learners

Hello Creators,

I have read over the information related to adding results slides and I am stuck. I created a training that has quiz questions with two attempts allowed. I do not the learner to advance until they have completed both attempts, if needed. Here are my questions.

1. How do I ensure that the learner can move to the next slide after the second attempt? Does this require a variable to be added on each slide?

2. Do I need a result slide for reach quiz question slide?

Any insight would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance for all of your help.

  • Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here. If you what/need the learner to get the answer, you might want to send them back to where the information is, then reset the quiz.

  • Eric,

I do not necessary need the learner to get the question right. If the learner gets the question incorrect after the second attempt. I have customize the feedback to refer them to a resource that is attached.

I am seeking for the learner to be able to move to the next slide after the second attempt, if necessary.

      Hi Inita!

Thanks for clarifying! I see you've already opened a support case regarding this inquiry and have been working with my colleague Robert. You're in great hands!

We'll continue this conversation over in your support case.

Hello there, regarding your question "How do I ensure that the learner can move to the next slide after the second attempt? Does this require a variable to be added on each slide?" by default the functionality works as you're expecting. On the quiz slides, when we set the number of attempts to 2, when user fails for the first time the try again layers pops out and for the second time Incorrect layer with a continue button pops out. So by clicking on that continue button user can navigate to the next slide without any hurdles.

Regarding your second question, results slide is required for tracking user inputs. So it solely depends on our requirements.
