I have figured out that if you insert the quiz slide and just leave the formatting alone everything is fine it's when you change any of the formatting of the text or try to customise the look of the different states of the answers that you run into issues.

Changing the formatting of text or modifying states shouldn't affect the functionality of anything in Storyline 360. As my colleague Steven mentioned, you can share a quick recording of the problem or a copy of your project file so we can identify what's causing the quiz functionality to break. We'll delete it when we're done testing!
