Recorded screens pixelate when published as video

I think I have discovered the problem. When I recorded the application from Chrome browser, I set the browser magnification to 75% to get all of the content within the window. It seems that recording at this magnification resulted in blurry pixelated output when published to a video. I made a recording where Chrome was at 100% magnification and the resulting video was not pixelated. So, it seems that recording a browser window at a magnification other than 100% can cause this problem.
