Replacing backgrounds in View/Try Mode
We're in the process of doing a rebranding of the products we have a bunch of view mode and try mode simulations built out for. We would like to replace all of the slide backgrounds with the rebranded backgrounds. All the dimensions, clicks, etc. remain exactly the same from the prior version to the new.
Does anyone know of a way to either replace the base layer background in an existing scene or an efficient way copy all the entities to a newly recorded scene (without having to manually copy-paste layers, timelines, and triggers separately)?

I'm not sure if this will help you EdRpberts , but sometimes, when I have a large number of images to replace in a project, I will change the file extension from *.story to *.zip and extract the files. All of the images will be located the .\story\media folder, and background images will have the dimensions that match your project dimensions.
You'd just have to ensure that any files you wanted to replace had the exact same name as the files in the extracted Storyline file. They aren't user friendly names, and so you need to identify them by sight.
Once you've completed your image updates, you just zip back up and then change the file extension back to *.story.
