Retry buttons

I have no problems with the Retry button. 

The minimal description in the post isn't clear about what's going wrong with your file. In other words, what is happening that shouldn't happen? Or what is not happening that should happen? 

Here are a few things you could check. 

Be sure the Retry button has two triggers.

• The first trigger should Reset results. Be sure the trigger refers to the Results slide it is on. (If you have multiple Results slides in a course, it'll help to give them meaningful names.) 
• The second trigger should jump to the first question in the quiz.

 

Also, check the Quiz Settings to ensure that all of the questions are included in the results. 

 

Finally, for each question slide, set the Slide Properties to Automatically Decide when revisiting. That setting allows Storyline to properly display the question slides for reviewing and for retrying.

 

Beyond that, well, troubleshooting is just guessing without seeing all the programming. Someone might be able to solve the issue if you upload the .story file. Here are the best practices for doing that:

• Only include slides that are related to the problem.
• Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
• If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
