Returning to Rise from an external link

I have a need to get the user to visit and external link (which I know how to set up) but I then need the user to return to the module. What address do I use for this and how do I test it? Do ...

as far as I know you can´t do this with Rise. Once the learner clicks on an external link, a new tab opens in the browser. Then the learners have to close this new tab by themselves and return to the course tab. Your only option here would be to use the embed block (in the block library under multimedia) so the website is inside your course.
Maybe a hint that the link will open in a new tab and how to close this to returt to the course would be helpful for learners who are not that tech-savvy.

Thank you for that Susi, I think I'm just going to give some direction about closing the new browser and returning to the course where they left off. That will work ok I think.
