Rise - locking navigation so that previous topics can't be revisited
I have used Rise as a 'container' for eight topics. Each topic has a Storyline file that has a pre-test, content and a post-test. To 'pass' the course, learners need to either:
- pass all eight pre-tests
- pass all eight post-tests (they get three attempts).
If they pass a pre-test or post-test, the navigation unlocks the next topic.
Currently, learners could 'cheat' the process by going back to a previous topic and re-doing the pre-test or post-test. So I need to be able to lock the navigation so they can't revisit a topic they've already completed.
Has anyone done this previously?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Cassy.
I am currently working on a unit where I did similar. I use Rise to host 8 topics and at the end of each topic I embedded Storyline quiz.
Could you describe further what you refererring to when you said, "Currently learners can "cheat" the process by going back to a previous topic and re-doing the pretest or post-test" .
If the only problem is to lock the navigation of your Rise learning, then you can:
- go to theme
- Select "Navigation"
- Under Navigation, there are 2 options, Type and Buttons.
- Select Type, then turn off Navigation
- Select Button, then turn off Previous/Next Lesson button
