Rise 360: Full Screen function on video not working on LMS (Cornerstone)
I have embedded an MP4 video on a piece of eLearning that has been developed on Rise 360. The 'Full Screen' functionality works well on Rise but does not display when the learning is published onto the LMS (Cornerstone). There is no visible setting on Rise that pertains to this, that can be adjusted.
What could be causing this problem?
Hi, Evelyn.
We are tracking an issue where videos in courses that are hosted in an LMS within the same LMS browser window are not launching full screen. I'll keep you updated on any changes we make to that behavior.
In the meantime, are you able to launch your course in a new window from Cornerstone? Many LMSs have a launch behavior setting that you can toggle from frameset (same window) to new window.

Hi Evelyn,
I stumbled on your post which described exactly the problem I'm encountering. Did you manage to resolve it?
Many thanks,

Hello I also have same issue, any news on the Full Screen. I use the video to be view in another browser, but I need some trigger to activate when the video is completed. To have it open on another browser is not working. I am using sumtotal LMS.
Thank you
No news yet, Yuliana. You're in the right place to stay updated on this issue!

Hello everyone, just to give you a quick update: I've tested the Scorm package on Scormcloud and everything works well so I think the problem should be the compatibility between Articulate and the LMS. We've raised a ticket to ours (Cornerstone), I will keep everyone posted on this thread if we have any news.

Hello everyone, we found a solution for this issue. We've exported the course under Scorm 2004 (4th edition) and the full screen option is available with our player on Cornerstone. Please try this on your ends. Good luck :)

Thank you @Linh Truong! SCORM 2004 (4th edition) worked for us on Safari and Chrome.
Initially, we used SCORM 1.2, and fullscreen functionality worked on Safari but not Chrome.

Just cheking if the dev team is working in a solution for this problem. I'm using SCORM 2004 4th edition in Success Factory and the fullscreen option isn't working yet. The launch mode needs to be inline because other way the content don't send completion status to LMS.

Have there been any updates to this issue? I am trying to publish my Rise course into Dayforce (Docebo) and the fullscreen option is not working.

This seems to be a LMS specific issue, as the full screen video option works in our LMS.
