Rise 360 Youtube embed "This video is restricted from being viewed on this domain"
Hi DonnaWellins1!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble embedding videos into Rise 360!
I noticed that you've opened a support case being handled by my teammate, Robert. It looks like Robert replied to your e-mail with some follow-up questions. We can continue troubleshooting through your case to keep all information in one spot.
I too have this issue, embedded a youtube video link using Rise. When published to the LMS and go to view the course to test, I see the youtube video screen, but when I click on it to play the video - it goes to a blank error page
“Video unavailable – This video is restricted from being viewed on this domain”.
I’ve tried various browsers, incognito, and different network, mobile, cleared cache, etc. Error still exists.
Is there a fix for this issue please?
Many thanks, Amelia

Appreciate the reply Luciana, it would be beneficial for everyone here to have the suggested fixes/workarounds placed here for us to try rather than kept out of sight in tickets.
Understood that those fixes may not help everyone but at least it could be resolved or user can create tickets if their situation differs from others. Or if you could provide info if this is a fix that product will resolve in this quarter.- AmeliaE8 hours agoCommunity Member
To anyone that comes across this issue.
The fix to my issue was to use the iframe embed code that youtube provides in the "Embed" block in Rise. And not use the short url that youtube generates.
