Rise and images blurry
Is there such thing as an image that is too big? I am getting this weird fade which disappears when the learner clicks on the image and enlarges it.

Hi Libby! Rise 360 optimizes and compresses images with virtually no loss of quality. So you can upload a large resolution images and it will adapt to the dimensions depending on the orientation or devices used.
Which block did you upload this image to? Are you seeing the same thing with other high-resolution images on your course? Would you be able to share the specific image file you used so that we can test it from our end?
You may upload the image file privately to us by opening a case here. Our support engineers are on standby to help you with your concern.

Thanks Angelo! I have even used the _NOPROCESS_ thing to no avail. I used the gallery block. The original image is attached. Interestingly, the centre image looks even worse than the other two, despite being generated the same way (in PowerPoint). Original images are attached too (PNGs)

Thanks for sharing the file, Libby!
I tried it on a couple of blocks that support images and they appear to be clear and high-quality. Can you check this sample Rise course that I created using the image you shared? I labeled them original and no process.
Would you mind sharing the link to your Rise course as well so that I can take a look?
