Rise Images are not working!

Whenever I try and replace a "text on image" from the Content Library (using the STYLE, IMAGE menu) it shows up behind the default image! THe only way to avoid this is to upload an image and then use the pencil (content) icon and reload an image from the Content Library. If you use the Style Menu icon it overlays the default image.

I cleared my cache, switched browsers, rebooted... nothing works! This is the second time in less than 2 weeks this has occurred and it's super frustrating when you can't even get Support to return an email and there is no phone number to talk to anyone!

    Hi Kim,

Have you tried deleting the block and recreating it?

I also tried replicating your error, and replacing the image worked as expected.

I have a similar problem - except the default images show up for a brief second before my images animate in. Any ideas?

If you are following the same steps as Kim described above, then yes, you are actually adding two images, one behind the other.

If you want to change the default image for a "text on image" block, you need to click on the Content (pencil) icon, and then click on Edit, and then choose either Replace Image or Replace Image from Content Library.

Do not click on the Style Icon, and select Custom, because that will replace the default white block background color with a second image as shown in Kim's screenshot above,

  • Hi,

The style option is the background, or you could call it the frame option, of the block itself. so just keep that to white (choose 'light') or a flat colour from the list and don't choose the image option from there. Always choose the image you need the text to sit on from the content option. You then also have to choice of having no frame by using the format option and having 0 top and bottom padding, so you will have no frame anyway doing that.

    Hope that makes sense?
