Rise label translations don't save when transferring course owner
The fact that transferring ownership on a course does not transfer the labels chosen or uploaded by the initial owner is a problem.
Also, it is not logic: a user creates a course in Swedish, uploads labels in Swedish, then transfers the course in Swedish to another user who will be responsible of further updates in the content and, bang! the labels are back in English.
So, question to the staff which appears to have been aware of the issue for at least two years:
Do you have an reason to keep it that way? Or is it on your list of issues to solve but you haven reach that one yet?
Hi ThiMalta,
Thanks for taking the time to share this. I know it’s frustrating when translated or custom label sets don’t stay in place after transferring a course to a new owner. This has been a long-standing concern in the community.
Some updates, especially those involving course ownership and shared assets, need deeper changes to how Rise 360 stores and manages data. I’ve informed our product team so they can review options for preserving label sets when ownership changes.
I appreciate you raising this again. It’s helpful to hear how this impacts your workflow.
