Rise Quiz: Is there a setting that only requires users to retake missed questions?

Hi there!

Can I set up an Articulate Rise quiz to only force users to retake "missed" questions? As it is now, a user must retake the entire quiz, even if they only missed one question. This could quickly lead to user frustration and could potentially add a significant amount to seat time.

Thanks!

This is a big issue for us. We have exams that are 60 questions long. To miss one and have to redo the entire thing is close to an hour every time, and then possibly missing on another. We'd rather have 100% completion than 80% but our previous system just showed the 5 they missed and let them reattempt that.

Thanks for sharing your use case, Jim-Lord.

I can see how retaking a 60-question exam after missing just one question would add unnecessary time and frustration, especially when your goal is to ensure learners eventually achieve 100% completion.

Currently, Rise 360 requires learners to retake the entire quiz after an unsuccessful attempt. I've shared your feedback with our product team and included the details about your use case to help them better understand the impact of this limitation.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how this would improve the learner experience.
