Rise Text Editing - Hover Label Boxes

Has anyone noticed that the black text labels which appear when hovering over tool panel buttons is making text editing really difficult?

For example, add a paragraph block, type some text, highlight the text, the editing panel appears, now try bolding the text and left aligning.

I don't recall it ever being a problem before but this week while editing a course, the label hovers were making it really difficult to edit, constantly having to roll on and off to make them disappear so I could get the the buttons underneath.
