Rise to SharePoint

Is it possible to share a Rise project to SharePoint how do I publish other than a review link?

If I use the quick share link it loads a very old original version not the latest version is that normal or is that a known fault

  • I'm not sure a Quick Share would work, but to view the latest version via this method, change the 'Live updates' option to 'On'.

I would publish your course to  'Web', and then link to the 'index.html' file.

Where is the Live updates option?

Also if I publish to web and link to index.html and I try to play videos in my course it gives me an error - Streaming video is unavailable for local playback. To watch this video use the preview feature in Storyline 360 or switch to static video quality, Im not sure what that means though!

    Any help greatly appreciated

The live option is in Publish > Quick Share > Live updates.

Regarding the video error, go into Storyline and in the 'Video Tools' option change the Quality setting from 'Streaming' to 'Static'. Then republish and re-insert in your Rise course.

    Hi

OK I fixed the video issue. Now in SharePoint

I have uploaded the zipped module.

Unzipped the files > content folder and clicked on the index html it does not open to the module. See attached files, so close but must be just missing a step

Can anyone help - it must be possible

      Hi JaneJordan1,

      Thanks for reaching out!

Just to clarify, are you using SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) or a SharePoint Server?

If it's SharePoint Online, unfortunately Articulate content isn't supported because SharePoint Online is designed to host .aspx files rather than HTML files.

If you're using a SharePoint Server, I'd recommend checking with your SharePoint administrator for the best way to upload HTML content in your environment. Depending on your SharePoint version, you may need to switch to Explorer View before uploading the files or check in the content afterward. Your SharePoint administrator should be be able to point you in the right direction.

      I hope this helps!
