Screencast has added mouse click sounds
Hi Alanna!
It sounds like you were trying to silence the mouse clicks from screen recordings in your Storyline course. I'd be happy to help with that!
Removing audio files from the published output is a valid solution we recommend. However, another option would be modifying the mouse-click settings. When you click the mouse object on the timeline, a new menu should pop up on the Ribbon, called Mouse Tools > Format.
There, you have the option of selecting 'None', 'Single', or 'Double' for the audio feedback. I would suggest choosing 'None' to eliminate the sound completely.
Please let me know if this works for you!

Hi. I've seen references to a feature request for the ability to remove all mouse clicks at once instead of doing it slide-by-slide.
Has that been added to the product yet? If not, can someone please point me to instructions on how to remove the audio file?
And can I go back and add a separate audio file after removing the one with the mouse clicks?

Hi AshleyDrew!
Happy to help with this!
Modifying the default mouse settings globally across a Storyline project hasn't made it to our roadmap yet. Not to worry! I've included your voice in the request so we can update you as soon as we have news to share.
Although we do not support modifying the published output, some users disable the mouse click sound by manually renaming or removing the MouseClickSound MP3 file as shared, here. Also, since that file is specific to the mouse-click audio, replacing it should not be necessary.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
