Setting a Default Text Box Broken

When I create a text box with font, styles, colors, justification, and margins, and then right-click and select "Set as default text box," nothing seems to happen. I have to reformat every block of ...

That's what I've been doing, but it doesn't seem to stick. Here are my steps:

  1. Create a text box using the Draw Text Box button, which I've saved to my Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. Add text to the text box, and change the font, color, and size to match what I want.
  3. Right click on that text box, and select Set as Default Text Box.
  4. The next time I draw a new text box, the format reverts back to the defauly Calibri regular - font, font size, and font color all go back to the default.

What am I missing here?
