Hi, Is it possible for Rise users to share folders? We have a mid-sized team of developers and we would like to store final files in a shared folder structure (for maintenance and translation purposes). Is this possible? I know you can add collaborators, but can you share folders with a specific group of people like you would share a google folder?

It is baffling that - three years on - this is still being requested. Articulate, we love Rise but your focus is at times questionable. Thousands of templates no one asked for, a release this week that caused serious issues and headaches for multiple users (only turned round in 24 hours because some of us shouted VERY loudly and threatened to cancel). We appreciate the design improvements, but when you've got 20+ users and 7,000 lessons like we have (and I'm sure many others have this and more!), why can you not see that Admin tools that improve workflow and sharing would be far more appreciated than a new heading design? Unless of course you're willing to add a new member of my team to all 7k lessons. Decisions like this really do make me question our subscription.

Can you please at least name a reason for ignoring this essential feature over years? That would help to decide if it's worth waiting for it or better switch to another platform

It's hard to believe it's been 4 years since I wrote this post. Please take the voice of your customers seriously. It's clear a lot of us leaders in the business are lacking this critical functionality.

Serioulsy, I'm with everyone on that one- it has been 4 years since we all started requesting that feature. it's not a "good-to-have' feature, its a mandatory one. We just hired someone new in our team, and now I need to go in all our +300 courses indivudually and add that peron to them... it's not viable. Why it has not been implemented yet?

You're still tracking requests?! People have been asking/begging for this for FOUR YEARS! This is not a small feature request, this is a fundamental issue with sharing of projects within a team, an issue that costs companies time and money in wasted hours. Please don't be like Microsoft. This issue should be your #1 priority.

Another vote from my team for this feature. It would also help to be able to share a folder or series of Rise files with a non-user for SME and stakeholder review.

+1 on my team needing sharable file structures. Additionally the ability to create more sub folders that are shareable is also something that would be really helpful

Adding my team to this vote as well! In addition to the sharing of folders we would like to see better archiving and version controls. The version controls could be as easy as allowing you to save the course with version number and not publish that part of the title upon publish; like when you publish from storyline.

Dear all,

I would like to express the same need in my team. We have just managed to increase the size of our Articulate team from 8 to 18 subscriptions and I'm training the new folks on using Rise and Storyline. The need to share Rise projects to the whole team is fundamental for us. We are now preparing to have our materials translated in all 24 EU languages so you can imagine the effort to share each project with 18 colleagues and the mess i can create that everyone has their own folder structure.

Please prioritise the request to add a feature with shared folders for the whole team or a few team members.

It would also be useful to be able to select from a drop down the members of my team instead of having to type their full email address every time.

Jumping in on this as well, so I can follow. This would be a huge asset to our team's workflow. Sharing or transferring files one by one is cumbersome; especially if you have lots of developed files that can move from one developer to another for maintenance/updates. Thanks!

Can we get an update on the developments with sharing folders? Over here we also have A LOT of modules we really need to organize consistently with colleagues. Would love to get this feature!

We don't have plans to add teams shared folders to Rise 360 right now, but thanks for letting us know that feature is important to you. We'll be sure to come back and update you if we get new information that would be helpful.
