Slide Layers Panel has disappeared in Storyline view
Hello,
Somehow the slide layers panel has disappeared from my storyline view. I've closed and restarted storyline, check the bottom pane for arrow triggers to turn it on and off again, and no luck. I've also searched forums and help topics about how to turn this back on. No luck.
Can someone please tell me how to turn this panel back on? I'm working on a big interactive slide and I can't access any of my layers without it.

OMG! I wasted so much time on this! Grabbing and pulling didn't help me, because the panel with the triggers was already there. Not sure where the layers panel went, but Belinda Jennings fixed it for me with her advice above. YAY!!!!

Just go VIEW then Redock all windows :)
Belinda, thank you! You saved the day! The Redock feature was key! my layers reappeared!
Thank you Belinda!! This was exactly what I needed. I was getting so frustrated. I wish I knew what I accidently clicked on to make it go away, but at least now I know how to get it back.

I'm glad this thread helped you out - and it's been a popular feature request that the side panel remains visible somehow or when moved is docked out of Storyline's main window so that you can find it again. Feel free to chime in here as well!
Welcome Chris, this problem seems to be a Storyline initiation of sorts. I think all of us have been stumped by the notorious missing side panel.
Just ran into this problem - very frustrating; especially as a new SL user. Thanks so much to Sarah for posting the problem and Nancy and Jill for their help!!!
