Slide Timeline Not Playing

What was the solution for this? I think I'm having the same issue. If I select a starting spot on the timeline and press play, it's playing the Text 2 Speech that overlaps that time period, but the playhead is not moving and the project is not progressing through the timeline. 

It just started today. I checked for updates and found there was one released today (yay!!), but I've installed that and relaunched my project and still having the issue. It's only affecting some slides.

    Hey there, I found that when a course has a special kind of font used even if I have already installed it on my computer, Storyline won't play a slide until I close the Storyline file and re-install the font. Quite strange.

      Oh, that is strange. And thank you for getting back so quickly. Unfortunately, I don't think that applies to my situation. I'll reach out to support if it's still an issue tomorrow.
