Slide with scroll panel does not display any content in preview

Hello everybody

I was playing around with the scroll panel object. What I was trying to accomplish is to have a scroll panel with multiple images and text inside.

When I preview the slide it shows a white screen. I have also tried to publish locally but nothing changed.

I attach some screen shots as well as the story file.

Thanks to anyone who may sort this out :)

  • You've posted the same question twice, here and at Slide with scroll panel does not display any content in preview - Articulate Storyline Discussions - E-Learning Heroes.

    Neither includes screen shots.

Just seeing screenshots wouldn't be much help anyway.

Troubleshooting something like this is just guessing without seeing the .story file. If you upload it, someone might be able to solve the issue.

Here are the best practices for uploading a .story file:

    • Only include slides that are related to the problem.
    • Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
    • If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
    • Be sure to clearly describe the following in the file and/or in the post with the attachment (if you haven’t already done so):
      • What you want to happen
      • What is not happening that should happen
      • What is happening that should not happen
      • What you have already tried
  • Hi!

Something went wrong while I was posting the new topic. It returned an error. Anyway, I try to re-attach the story file and the screenshots I made.

What I want to happen is just to display the content of my slide :), which is not currently happening when I preview it.

  • The slide looks fine when I preview it:

I don't know why it isn't displaying for you.

  • None of the solutions you suggested worked for me :(

I will contact the support, thanks for your help!

  • Hi Elisabetta,

I see that you've opened a support case and you're working with my colleague Ian. You're in great hands!

We'll continue the conversation over in your case.

Have a wonderful start to your week!
