Slider - How Do You Reset the Slider?
Hello Heroes,
I inserted a slider into a slide and would like the slider to reset itself back to the start when the user revisits the slide. I tried setting the slide properties to "Reset to Initial State", but the slider remains in the position it was before. I also tried to find a trigger to reset the slider, but I couldn't.
Is there a way to make the slider go back to the start when revisiting a slide?
When you insert a slider, Storyline automatically creates a number variable to track its position. Move the slider, and the variable changes. Change the variable, and the slider moves.
So to reset the slider, add a trigger that adjusts the variable by setting it to the desired number when the timeline starts on the slide.
Note: You can find the variable's name in the SLIDER TOOLS>DESIGN tab.
