Slides are blank in storyview
Hello Dale,
Happy to help!
A blank slide in Story View usually indicates the presence of possible data corruption. This article explains the common causes for data corruption, as well as ways to reduce the risk of encountering it.
One troubleshooting step that you can do is to import all of your slides to a new Storyline 360 project file to see if this helps restore the thumbnail preview of your slides in Story View. If the issue persists, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can identify the corrupted elements? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Thank you for the quick reply.
Today is my lucky day. Importing the slides in to a new project file fixed the problem.- JoseTansengco2 years agoStaff

Hey Jose- I have a related issue. In Storyline- all my slides show. I can call any of them up. All the info in there. One slide has 5 buttons which each Lightbox an additional slide each. After publishing, when we get to the Lightbox slide, even if I click them in a different order, the 5th (last) button selected produces a blank slide. Then, every subsequent slide selected in the whole project shows up as blank. It's a domino effect. But the information is in the project.
I did discover that some project files were on a shared drive. I moved them to the local drive and resaved and republished. Same.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Storyline. Same.
Are there errant or corrupt files that need to be cleared?
