Slides keep advancing on timeline even though I disabled trigger

I have a project that I created and I am not quite understanding why my slides are automatically advancing when the timeline of each slide ends.  As a default, I see that a trigger is set up to automatically advance slide at the end of the timeline on that slide.  I have disabled all of these.  I am still finding that some (but not all) of my slides are advancing at the end of the timeline.  

I only want the slides to advance when the user clicks next.  I have those triggers on all my slides.  

Any ideas on what is going on?

    Check the Slide Properties. It sounds like those are set to advance automatically.

    You can change the properties to "By user" for all the slides at the same time by selecting the slides in STORYVIEW, and then adjusting the "Slide advances" dropdown in the Slide Properties panel.
