Solved: Articulate Storyline drag & drop options only work for one target on the slide

TL:DR: I'm going to leave this in case it helps someone else, but I've solved my problem.

I was trying to do my "multiple items correct in one drop zone" drag & drop completely through setting triggers. Turns out that if you don't configure at least one drag item for each drop zone in the form view, you'll get this problem I had below. So, the solution is to set at least one drag item for each drop zone in the form view, and then set all your triggers to do the rest!

Original post:

I have a drag and drop slide with 6 rectangles and a bunch of icons. I've used triggers to set up the drop-correct state when the icons are dragged onto the rectangles. That works just fine.

However, when I set the "Drag & Drop Options" at the top to "Snap dropped items to a target" and then choose "Free", it only works on the first drop target. The rest snap to center.

How can I fix this? Screenshot of Drag & Drop Options:

Screenshot of how they stack in the preview. You can clearly see that "free" only works on the first drop zone.

I did try unchecking all drag and drop options checkboxes, and the only difference is that I can then drag icons anywhere on the slide. If I drag them into their correct drop zone, they all snap to center (even though all snapping is turned off), except for the same single one drop zone

Anyone have any ideas?
